The name of the image sets is Takenokoya, but the name of the artist is Takenoko Gohan.

His art is quite distinctive for the boys having a orangeish tan, though this is less pronounced in his very early and very recent works. They also tend to have a highly muscular, zero-percent body fat look to them. His art heavily features bdsm, with a special fondness for eastern-style wooden horses, such as the one pictured. However, there is also a notable lack of blood and a very little striking with paddles and such.

Takenoko Gohan has revealed on his site that he prefers to draw boys aged 10-14.

As a personal project, I am currently using my meager Japanese skills to translate some of his short stories, and am posting them here in /elit, starting with the one in his 2005.Aki image set. It's about an elementary school basketball ace's journey to becoming a slave to a manager of a porn studio who also happens to be the same age. It's not very good, but I'd like to have some feedback anyway.

Take-no-Ko are bamboo shoots, which are cooked by boiling. I've had some during a trip to Japan. They taste like button mushrooms, but their taste is much stronger, and they're really gummy.
