AFAIK the best way to "find" stuff is not to miss it in the first place. Keep yourself connected to places like this website and the resources above and grab things as they are new and available, rather than struggling to find them when they become scarce. Take note of upcoming doujinshi events like Comic Market and anticipate the flood of scans afterwards. Keep tabs on artists you care about.
